The Forest Department advised people to avoid travelling alone, move in groups, maintain adequate lighting and report further leopard activity promptly to help prevent human-wildlife conflict.

A ride at the Nanda Devi fair in Almora’s Adams Inter College ground broke late Wednesday, injuring a man and a woman. The man reportedly suffered fractures in both legs after falling, while the woman sustained injuries.
